The Home Stretch
So we’re down to our last few weeks at FIRE School of Ministry. It’s been a great 2 years and we’re excited to see what God has in store for us. These next couple weeks will be very busy as we are winding down with papers and exams. We thank God for the season of training and all that He imparted in us. We have been forever marked by these past couple years and pray that our vision expands and we become open to whatever God wants to do in and through us. We also have just a few months left before we get married! Although all of the planning has brought a little bit of stress upon us, we are filled with the joy of the Lord and excited to move into this next season of our lives. We have already seen God’s hand in our lives and how faithful He is and we are trusting that He will lead us concerning a home to live in, provision, and ministry opportunities. He has never disappointed us in anything and we are expecting great things and answered prayers. We ask that you would be praying with us as we are seeking God’s direction and leading for our next steps in life. We stand on God’s Word and trust in His provision and leading. We are ecstatic that we get to share our lives and everything God is doing in them with you all.
“For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life? And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith! Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” -Matthew 6:25-33
Sam preached a powerful message tonight at Da liberation (our young adult home group). Here’s a quote I thought was worth posting. “Take a step out in faith, if you fall at least God knows you’re willing to move”

Back from our internships
Hey everyone this is Natalie and Sam, we thought it would be a great idea to start a blog together to share with you all that God is doing in our lives. It’s been around 2 weeks since we’ve been back from our internships and now we’re on the wedding grind. There’s so much to do before the big day. However, we don’t want to lose sight of what God has done in and through us while we were away. While in separate countries across the world, God really spoke to us about our calling as a married couple. He’s given us vision for our lives and expanded our hearts for unreached people groups. We are not sure where and when we will leave but in the meantime we will be partnering up with our church as we start to build home churches. Our hearts are set on fulfilling the will of God in our lives. Together we decided that we are willing to do whatever it takes to make that happen. We invite you guys to join us as we embark on this journey with Him. We can’t thank you enough for all your love and support.
In Christ,
Natalie and Sam
